Maintenance and Cleaning

• AIR COOLER-X

  A unique emulsifiable blend of petroleum solvents and detergents. Blended for quick penetration and easy removal of oily deposits on the finned tubes of air cleaners. Used for cleaning oilside deposits in fuel oil heaters, lube oil coolers and associated piping. AIR COOLER–X is safe to use on all metals and is biodegradable.

• ALPHA TUFF

  An environmentally safe heavy duty degreaser that is being used to replace toxic and dangerous cleaning agents. Alpha Tuff is a 100% biodegradable, nonflammable, non-toxic water based blend of specifically engineered surfactants. Contains unique properties that allow to act as an emulsifier and encapsulant for the hydrocarbon (ex. Greasy floors). Works in hot, cold fresh or salt water and can be used in pressure or steam washers. Water from cleaning can be sent down the drain or discharged helping to eliminate costly hazardous waste disposal.

• ALPHA SOAP

  This is a concentrated industrial liquid detergent with powerful wetting agents with free rinsing properties that contain no harsh chemicals. A general purpose mild cleaner with various deck and engine cleaning, railcars, automobiles and many industrial applications. ALPHA SOAP works well with cold, warm tap or sea water.

• BILGE CLEANER

  Designed for cleaning bilges when waste matter is processed by an oil water separator before discharge. This will remove oil and grease from bilge surfaces but will not separate with discharged water.

• C/W CLEANER

  C/W CLEANER is a water based product blended to remove grime, dirt and oily deposits from concrete and wooden decks. This also removes light to moderate deposits of animal and vegetable oils from most surfaces.

• CARBON-X

  Carbon X is a liquid that contains chlorinated hydrocarbons, wetting agents and inhibitors. Removes hard carbon deposits and residues.

• CITRUS CLEAN

  A water based cleaner/degreaser, CITRUS CLEAN is low toxic, biodegradable and safe to use. Very effective deodorizer and promotes a pleasant and healthy working environment.

• D SOLVENT

  D Solvent is a concentrated solvent base emulsifier for removing crude oil and most petroleum based products from cargo tanks and bilges.

• DESCALING LIQUID

  A liquid acid compound containing descaling accelerators and corrosion-inhibitors that provides metal protection during the descaling process. Effective on watersides of boilers, evaporators, heat exchangers and cooling systems.

• DESCALING POWDER

  A dry acid containing stable wetting agents and effective heat stable inhibitors to protect metal surfaces. It will dissolve hard water scale and rust including magnetic iron oxide. An effective descaler for cleaning boilers, evaporators, heat exchangers and cooling systems.

• DISPERSANT OS/LT

  A non hazardous, non toxic oil spill dispersant. It is an effective dispersant to break the oil into small encapsulated droplets. It can be used on fresh or sea water to reduce fire hazards for protection to property. DISPERSANT OS/LT can be used on docks, ship bilges and other industrial plants where oil spillage is a problem.

• ELECTRO CLEAN

  A solvent for cleaning electric motors, generators, switchboards and electronic instruments. A very high solvency rating but dries slower than ELECTRO QUICK.

• ELECTRO QUICK

  A super fast drying, non flammable solvent cleaner which is suitable for cleaning electric motors, generators, switchboards and electronic instruments. This has a very high solvency rating and will not leave a residue.

• OCEAN CLEAN

  A solvent base emulsifier that enables a steamship operator to successfully clean and gas-free double bottom and deep tanks at sea at a fraction of the cost of conventional dockside methods. Applied with sea water, it has exceptional cleaning ability.

• OIL DISC-X

  A blended liquid of surfactants in a specially inhibited inorganic based solvent. Blended for efficient cleaning of fuel oil disc separators.

• ORANGE GELATIN

  An extremely concentrated but gentle to sensitive skin. ALPHA ORANGE GELATIN can be used with or without water. It readily cleans grease; oil, tar, and ink from personnel and has a very pleasant citrus scent.

• RIG WASH

  Rig Wash is a powerful cleaning compound that is soluble in fresh and salt water. Removes oil and grease. For use in all environments including engine rooms, drilling rigs, compressor stations, crew boats, etc. Can be used while equipment is hot.

• RUST SOLV

  A concentrated acid, with an acid stable wetting inhibitor and glycol grease removers. Removes films of oil and grease and dissolves rust and other metallic oxides. Rust Solv leaves a microfilm of metal phosphate which protects metal surfaces from further oxidation. It can also be used to treat steel before painting.

• SAFETY DEGREASER

  A non-caustic, alkaline, cleaner formulated to clean animal and vegetable oils from cargo tanks, tank trucks and industrial systems. Effective with animal, vegetable and mineral oils.

• SEA SUDS

  A blended all purpose powder detergent recommended for general cleaning. It contains a combination of anionic and nonionic surfactants with sequestering, detergency promoters and soil suspender builders. Blended for removing soil, oils and grease from painted surfaces, all floor types, machinery and ship decks.

• WASTE WATER-X

  Blended for the treatment of tank cleaning waste water after using petroleum based solvents. This product eliminates the emulsion characteristics of post cleaning slops and turns waste that is unacceptable into acceptable for most disposal operations.

Coatings

• ALPHACOAT

  A superior corrosion inhibitor for all metal or metallic surfaces. Product does not contain hydrocarbon or petroleum derivatives. It retards or virtually eliminates corrosion by creating a moisture barrier on the treated surface.

• ALPHA GUARD

  Alpha Guard adheres to ballast tank metal surfaces, replacing the moisture and oxygen. It is a blended mineral oil rust preventative that is specially blended to prevent corrosion in vessel ballast tanks. Further corrosion is also prevented.

• BALLAST-X

  Ballast-X adheres to ballast tank metal surfaces, replacing the moisture and oxygen. It is a blended mineral oil rust preventative that is specially blended to prevent corrosion in vessel ballast tanks. Further corrosion is also prevented.

Tank Cleaners

• ALPHA SOLVE

  An amine concentrate that is a glycol base complex for neutralizing odors and acrylate esters. Biodegradable and water rinseable.

• COAL CLEANER

  Designed for cleaning such cargoes as coal tar, carbon black and feed stock. This is a high solvency based product. It contains cresols, chlorinated hydrocarbons, inhibitors penetrates and wetting agents.

• COLOR-OUT

  An alkaline product with a mix of surface active and reducing agents. Uses a superior penetrating ability and is used to remove discoloration from tank surfaces. Very effective when loading color sensitive cargoes such as: methanol, styrene monomer, isopropyl alcohol and ethylene glycol.

• H-D ALKALINE LIQUID

  A blended product of alkalis and stabilizing surfactants. H-D Alkaline is extremely effective in removing all types of animal and vegetable oils.

• H-D ALKALINE POWDER

  An alkaline chemical product in granular form, designed primarily for removing oxidizing type cargoes such as animal and vegetable oil.

• HYDROCARBON-X

  Blended to remove any traces of hydrocarbons left in tanks after they have been cleaned. Use only when the presence of hydrocarbon will contaminate the next cargo.

• LEAD OUT

  Designed specifically to clean tanks that have carried leaded cargoes or chloride laden cargoes which includes leaded gasoline, virgin naphtha, methylene chloride and carbon tetrachloride. This product is especially efficient with cargoes carried in zinc silicate or epoxy coated tanks.

• SAFETY ALKALINE LIQUID

  Special blended chemical containing a high percentage of alkaline and stable wetting agents for removing oxidizing type oils.

• SMELL-X

  Specifically blended to eliminate harsh odors associated with certain aroma cargoes (fish oils, sour oats or barleys, etc.) A heavy duty odor neutralizer, formulated to eliminate the toughest odors. Does not contain perfumes, fragrances or enzymes. Product adheres to all surfaces.

• TANK CLEANER

  Used in vat systems where removal of paint, oil, scale and other contaminants from forging is desired. It is very effective when used on materials prior to machining.

• ULTRA CLEAN

  Designed for all soot and inactive gas stains. Alpha Ultra Cleaner is a mixture of cleaning agents blended to penetrate and dissolve inactive residue that holds fast to tank walls. Can be applied safely to all tank surfaces.

Water Treatment

• ALPHA BREAK

  Separates fuel oil and salt water from tanks, industrial storage tanks and oil tanks, etc. ALPHA BREAK is used in most emulsions where hydrocarbons based products and water exists.

• ALPHA DEFOAMER

  To kill foam in water systems and to prevent carry over of solutions. This extremely efficient and economical solution will allow liquid leaves to stabilized and provide proper entry for designed process flows. White emulsion of silicone fluid. Odorless and tasteless, contains no harmful substances, suitable for fresh water generator.

• ANTIFOULING TREATMENT

  Is successfully applied against marine fouling by muscles, barnacles, algae etc. Sea water circulation systems can be maintained clean with ANTIFOULING TREAT applied according to recommended dosages. To be used in all circuits where fresh and sea water is circulated i.e. condensers, headers, sea water pipes, tanks and wet cooling towers.

• BOILER WATER TREATMENT

  Boiler Water Treatment products for the Coordinated Phosphate treatment of low and medium pressure boilers. Products include:

  PHOSPHATE TREAT: ALKALINE CONTROL
  “C” HYDRAZINE: CONDENSATE TREAT
  “C” SULFITE: “L” COAGULANT

  Reagents, Test Kits and Lab Supplies necessary to test alkalinity, pH, chloride, hydrazine, phosphate and conductivity are available as well.

• DIESEL SAFE CWT

  A liquid cooling water treatment blended specifically for marine and industrial diesels. Protects cooling systems from water corrosion, which includes electrolytic or galvanic corrosion. Diesel Safe prevents corrosion and eliminates deposit formation.

• DISPERSANT OS/LT

  Aggressive oil dispersant with an extremely low toxic level to most marine and plant life species. Used to break oil agglomerates into minute emulsifiable droplets. It can be used in fresh or sea water to reduce fire hazards and protects beaches and property. It is also recommended for use on docks, bilges, refineries, mills and industrial complexes.

• EVAPORATOR-X

  Evaporator-X is a concentrated liquid blend of polymer and antifoam agents for controlling scale and foam in evaporators.

• WASTE WATER-X

  Blended for the treatment of tank cleaning waste water after using petroleum based solvents. This product eliminates the emulsion characteristics of post cleaning slops and turns waste that is unacceptable into acceptable for most disposal operations.

Fuel Treatment

• ALPHA BREAK

  Separate fuel oil and salt water from tanks, industrial storage tanks, oil tanks, etc. Alpha Break is used in most emulsions where hydrocarbons based products and water exists.

• BACTERIA-X

  Bacteria-X is a blend of micro biocides and microbiological agents dissolved in a special solution. Excellent in controlling the growth of hydrocarbon degrading bacteria and fungi in petrochemical storage tanks. Bacteria-X is especially useful in controlling and reducing the growth of water bottom microbes.

• DIESEL PLUS

  This is a catalyst for distillate fuels. Improves combustion efficiency, reduces exhaust smoke, inhibits corrosion and maintain clean injectors throughout. A multipurpose additive and can be used in diesel fuel, kerosene, jet fuels and furnace oils.

• FUEL TREAT

  An advanced fuel oil treatment made for steam generating units that burn lighter distillates. It is completely soluble in fuel oils and disperses atomic manganese throughout the firebox. Prevents corrosion and improves combustion by eliminating the formation of nitric and sulfuric oxides. Prevents tube bridging and slag formation.

• SOOT STICKS

  Active blend of mineral based salts, containing slag modifiers and carbon oxidation catalyst. Effect to remove unburned carbon slag from: boiler furnaces, super heaters, economisers, air heaters and exhaust path stacks.
